AllMusic Review by Matt Fink Though only featuring 11 songs, albeit his greatest hits, Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 is a solid, yet underwhelming set. Still, all the biggest moments are covered, from "Yesterday, When I Was Young," "The Tips of My Fingers," and "Thank God and Greyhound" to instrumentals like "Riders in the Sky" and "Roy's Guitar Boogie."6/

Roy Clark's Greatest has his early hits. The Tips Of My Fingers was I think his first top ten song. It ends with When The Wind Blows In Chicago which was written by Audie Murphy. The highlight of the cd is the instrumental Malaguena. But just hearing the song is not as impressive as seeing a video of him playing it. Just unbelievable.3/5(1).
